Interviews
The Latino Virginia Project is an oral history initiative that gathers in-depth interviews with immigrant and US-born Latinos who live in Virginia. The goal of the project is to highlight the many ways Latinos have lived, worked, and built their lives in Virginia. We are proud that most of these interviews were conducted by undergraduate and graduate students as part of their research training at VCU.
This digital archive features stories shared by individuals who have given permission for their experiences to be made public. Interviews were conducted in both English and Spanish, and we present them here in their original languages. By preserving these first-hand accounts, the archive creates a space where participants can share their stories in their own voices and ensures they are accessible to a wider audience.
